Student Success

The Director of Student Success and Academic Engagement supports students in career and technical programs who may be academically or personally at risk. This office oversees the Mission Control early alert system to identify and assist students in need of timely interventions. The Director also teaches Rocket Awareness courses designed to promote academic success and personal development, while managing the day-to-day operations of the Rocket Success Center. In addition, the department provides assistance the annual career fair and job placement services and collaborates with other student support units across campus to guide students from enrollment through graduation and into the workforce.
