HVAC 1033 Fundamentals of Basic Compression and Refrigeration
This course provides an in-depth study of mechanical refrigeration systems with a focus on proper service techniques through problem analysis. It covers detailed testing procedures, component removal and installation, and the computation of temperature-pressure relationships and related challenges. Key topics include system components, refrigerants, compressors, voltages, pressures, and blueprint reading. The course is designed to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
