MD 1073 NCCER
The National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) Core curriculum serves as a prerequisite for all Level 1 craft programs. This foundational curriculum includes modules on safety, basic math, hand tool operation, power tool use, blueprint reading, rigging, and measurement techniques using tools like tape measures, scales, micrometers, calipers, and torque wrenches. Additionally, it covers communication skills, employability skills, and material handling. Students can take the NCCER national certification exam to earn their CORE certification card.
