RN 1013 RN Practicum 1
This clinical lab course allows students to practice the knowledge, skills and concepts learned in RN 1003 and RN 1046. Basic skills check-off will be incorporated at the beginning of the course prior to the entrance of the student in the clinical setting. Practicum hours will correspond with the theory hours taught medical/surgical units and will incorporate medication administration and general nursing skills. Students will be taught the responsibilities of the Registered Nurse and to apply the skills of assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of the clients in their care.
Prerequisite
Acceptance into the Nursing program.
