Practical Nursing

The Practical Nursing (PN) Program is a comprehensive, hands-on training program designed to prepare students for entry-level positions as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). Through a combination of classroom instruction, laboratory practice, and clinical experience, students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to individuals across the lifespan.

The curriculum emphasizes key areas such as anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, nursing fundamentals, mental health, maternal and child care, and medical-surgical nursing. Under the supervision of experienced faculty and clinical preceptors, students develop critical thinking, communication, and clinical judgment skills essential for the dynamic healthcare environment.

Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) and pursue employment in hospitals, long-term care facilities, clinics, home health agencies, and other healthcare settings
